Looking south down Newlands from Applethwaite. You can see all the Newlands Round: from left to right Catbells, Maiden Moor, High Spy (hidden), Dale Head and Hindscarth. The low mound in the relative foreground is the Swinside plantation, and emerging from the tree on the right is Rowling End.

And to the right: Braithwaite is almost dead centre, GrisedalePike up to the right and Eel Crags (which is actually higher than Grisedale) rises above Braithwaite
